Christmas Love 2025

Shining Light. Sharing Hope. Spreading Love

For many of us, Christmas is a time of family, joy, and celebration. But in parts of Nigeria, thousands of families are facing a very different reality.

Communities have been torn apart by killings, violence and abductions. Farmers have lost the lands they once depended on for livelihoods. Mothers, fathers, and children are living in IDP camps or dispersed into urban slums, uncertain of when (or if)  they will return home. For them, Christmas is not about lights and laughter—it’s about survival.

That’s why Christmas Love, an annual outreach by PSJ UK, exists: for you to bring hope, dignity, and joy into the lives of families who would otherwise face Christmas and life in hardship and despair.

Christmas Love is about reminding vulnerable families that they are not forgotten.

  • A displaced mother in an IDP camp able to serve her children a meal on Christmas Day.

  • A farmer who lost everything, but feels seen and supported by a community of care.

  • A child, once surrounded by fear, who experiences the joy of Christmas because of you.

Every hamper-full food sack we give is more than food—it’s a message: “You are loved. You are not alone.”

Be A Part of It

This year, we are focusing on families in IDP camps and farming communities devastated by violence.

You can join in by:

  • Donating → Every gift helps provide food, essentials, and comfort to a family in crisis.

  • Fundraising → Start a campaign with your friends, workplace, or church to multiply impact.

  • Spreading the Word → Share the vision of Christmas Love so others can get involved.

  • Praying → Cover displaced families and broken communities in prayer for peace and renewal.

This Christmas, we want to see families in crisis across various states in Nigeria experience light instead of darkness, joy instead of despair, and love instead of fear.

Christmas Love is more than an outreach—it’s a chance to stand with families who have lost so much, and to remind them that hope still lives.
