As a Community Engagement Volunteer at PSJ UK, you will play a vital role in strengthening our connection with the Nigerian community in the UK and beyond. You will engage with our audience, foster meaningful discussions, and mobilise support for our advocacy campaigns and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Nigerian communities, groups, and organisations in the UK.
• Organise and facilitate online and in-person engagement activities, such as discussions, events, and awareness campaigns.
• Actively participate in PSJ UK’s online platforms, responding to comments and encouraging discussions.
• Work with the communications team to amplify our message and reach new audiences.
• Support PSJ UK's advocacy and fundraising initiatives by mobilising community members.
• Gather feedback from the community to inform PSJ UK’s strategies and initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Passion for civic engagement, advocacy, and community building.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in community outreach, event organising, or social activism (preferred but not required).
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences both online and offline.
• Comfortable using social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
