As the Board Chairman of the UK International Organisation of Peace Building and Social Justice (PSJ-UK), I am delighted to extend a cordial invitation for you to join Lord David Alton of Liverpool and Pastor Agu Irukwu of Jesus House, London, as our highly distinguished guests, at the PSJ-UK 2025 Peace & Social Justice Evening.
This prestigious high-level dinner event will be held at The Carlton Club, St James's Street, London, on October 28, 2025. You will be in the company of an inspiring assembly of philanthropists, parliamentarians, business leaders, policymakers, faith leaders, academics, media professionals, and other visionary changemakers committed to fostering positive global impact.
The evening will centre on raising vital awareness about the plight of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Nigeria. We will examine, explore, and underscore the essential imperatives of peace and social justice in confronting this profound humanitarian crisis, wherein citizens are forcibly uprooted from their homes within their own nation.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the disproportionate suffering borne by women and children in IDP camps. In addition, the evening will serve as a platform to raise essential funds and to launch our dedicated campaign, aimed at facilitating the safe and dignified return of displaced individuals to their ancestral lands and communities.
Co-hosted by Pastor Agu Irukwu, Senior Pastor of Jesus House, London, and Lord David Alton of Liverpool, this gathering unites exceptional leadership. Pastor Irukwu is a prominent voice in community transformation, faith-inspired advocacy, and nation-building. Lord Alton is a steadfast champion of human rights, social justice, and humanitarian protection, serving as Chair of the Joint House of Lords and House of Commons Committee on Human Rights.

Together, they harness UK parliamentary influence and faith-based community leadership to confront some of the most urgent challenges of our era and drive meaningful solutions.
