On the first anniversary of her passing, we honour the life and legacy of Numson Lucy Okuonghae — a woman whose compassion, strength, and faith touched everyone who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her heart for others continues to live on through this upcoming outreach taking place in her memory in Adamawa State, Nigeria.

Lucy’s life reflected the true spirit of generosity, kindness, and unwavering love. In her honour, we are preparing a special outreach to bring light and practical support to families in need across communities affected by violence and displacement.

Across Adamawa, many families are still struggling to rebuild their lives after years of conflict and insecurity. Through this campaign, we are raising support ahead of the outreach to provide food, essentials, and relief to displaced families — a simple but powerful message to those who often feel forgotten:

“You are loved. You are not alone.”
