Terrorists Behind Kaduna-Abuja Train Attack Killed In Violent Clash

A key figure in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack in March 2022, Na’ballo, has reportedly been killed in a violent attack.

Counter insurgence expert, Zagazola Makama, disclosed this on Tuesday via his X account, noting that the incident followed an internal confrontation among terrorists in the area.

Na’ballo, a high-profile terrorist with a history of terrorising several northern communities, was reportedly based in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara, where he coordinated criminal activities.

The terrorist’s operation in the north, according to Makama, highlighted “his central role in some of Nigeria’s most high-profile banditry operations, including the Kaduna train abduction” where he was a key player.

“His influence extended beyond his hideout in eastern Takulawa, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, as he coordinated several criminal operations, including mass kidnappings and cattle rustling.

“Months ago, Na’ballo was intercepted while travelling to Kano. However, he was either controversially released or managed to escape, an incident that drew public criticism and further emboldened his criminal activities,” Makama added.
