    Role Title: Data Verification Team Volunteer

    Role Type: Volunteer (Flexible Hours)

     

    Overview:

    The PSJ UK Data Verification Team is a newly established unit dedicated to strengthening the accuracy, credibility, and reliability of data across all PSJ UK activities. Although data verification has always been part of our workflow, this team will take on a more structured, rigorous, and proactive approach to fact-checking and data validation.

    The Data Verification Team Volunteer plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all data collected and managed within PSJ UK. This role supports the organization’s administrative and reporting processes by reviewing submissions, verifying records, updating databases, and ensuring that all information aligns with organizational standards. The volunteer contributes directly to strengthening transparency, accountability, and effective decision-making across the organization.

    We are seeking detail-oriented volunteers who are passionate about accuracy, accountability, and improving internal processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough data verification across internal platforms and documents.
    • Perform fact-checking on submitted reports, forms, and volunteer activity data.
    • Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or errors and escalate them to relevant teams.
    • Maintain high standards of data quality, confidentiality, and integrity.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct and up-to-date information is captured.
    • Support ongoing improvement of data collection and reporting processes.
    • Contribute to building trust within the PSJ UK community through reliable data management.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to follow verification procedures with consistency.
    • Basic understanding of data entry and record-keeping tools.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
