Especially as an Indian, I find this discussion very relevant. India has state-controlled police since its independence and has developed decades of institutions, training academies, legal frameworks.
A phased approach could work: one step at a time by first establish the legal framework, then focus on training, recruitment, clear command structures, and independent oversight before rolling it out fully. Like the article suggests just passing the bill will not solve Nigeria’s problem overnight. Although with proper planning and implementation a better future can be guaranteed -

- Manage Video Assets: Organize and manage video files, ensuring all content is stored efficiently and easily accessible for future use.
