Annual PSJ UK Global Peace & Justice Summit: Shaping Global Conversations on Peace and Justice

We believe in creating spaces where difficult questions can be asked, bold ideas exchanged, and transformative solutions charted. That is why we are launching the Annual PSJ UK Global Peace & Justice Summit. This one-day high-level gathering brings together thought leaders, policymakers, activists, academics, and grassroots voices.

This summit will position PSJ UK as a convening power on governance, human rights, and social justice, shaping debates that influence both national and global conversations.

What Will the Summit Look Like?

The Global Peace & Justice Summit will combine panel discussions, keynote speeches, and policy debates into an engaging hybrid event (both in-person and online), ensuring that our reach extends beyond borders.

Highlights will include:

  • Keynote Addresses from global leaders in peacebuilding and justice.

  • Panel Discussions on governance, insecurity, and human rights.

  • Policy Roundtables connecting policymakers with diaspora voices and grassroots communities.

By integrating online participation, we will maximise inclusivity while keeping costs efficient.

Why Does This Matter?

Nigeria’s crises of governance and insecurity are not isolated — they are part of a wider global pattern of fragility, inequality, and contested development. For solutions to take root, conversations must connect the local to the global.

The Summit will:

  • Give PSJ UK a recognised leadership role in international peace and justice advocacy.

  • Provide policymakers and partners with evidence-based insights from our research and grassroots networks.

  • Build bridges between diaspora voices, African communities, and international institutions.

  • Create a recurring platform that attracts partnerships, funding, and sustained attention to issues often overlooked.

How Will It Work?

  • Hybrid Event: A London-based venue combined with global online participation.

  • Inclusive Partnerships: Collaboration with universities, think tanks, and media outlets to broaden reach.

  • High-Profile Guests: Speakers from government, multilateral agencies, NGOs, and grassroots movements.

  • Annual Rhythm: Establishing PSJ UK as the home of an annual global peace and justice gathering.

The Investment Needed

To host this event, we estimate a budget of £15,000–£25,000, covering:

  • Venue hire and logistics

  • Speaker travel and honoraria

  • Marketing, publicity, and live-streaming

  • Staff coordination and volunteer support

Why Support the Summit?

This is more than an event — it’s a platform for change. Your support will allow PSJ UK to convene global actors around the urgent issues of justice and governance, amplifying the voices of those often left out of policy discussions.

Every contribution ensures that this Summit becomes a beacon of thought leadership and action for peace and justice.
