It’s heartbreaking to see communities continue to suffer from violence and displacement. Every life lost is one too many. I hope there is sustained action to protect civilians, support affected families, and address the root causes of the conflict so that lasting peace can finally take hold in Plateau State. 🙏🏽

No family should have to live in fear because of insecurity and violence. Regardless of political views, protecting lives should always come first. I hope policymakers take these concerns seriously and work with international partners to support lasting peace, improve security, and protect civilians.

My heart goes out to the students, teachers, and their families. No parent should have to wonder if their child will make it home from school. I sincerely hope the authorities intensify every effort to secure their safe return as quickly as possible. We must never become numb to tragedies like this. Praying they all come back home safely. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

This is one of the most balanced takes I’ve read on the State Police debate. Too many conversations stop at whether we should have State Police, but the real issue is whether we’re actually prepared to make it work. Logistics, training, leadership, accountability, and political neutrality will determine its success far more than the law itself. If these foundations aren’t in place, we risk creating another institution with the same old problems. Great analysis.
