At PSJ UK, we believe that real change starts at the grassroots level. That’s why we’ve launched our State-Watch initiative, a proactive monitoring system focused on key hotspot states in Nigeria. Through this initiative, we are closely tracking developments in regions most affected by insecurity, conflict, and social unrest, ensuring that the voices of vulnerable communities are heard.
As part of our commitment to enhancing local engagement and response, we are also rolling out a Local Area Coordinators (LAC) network—a structured system that will place coordinators in every state and local government area in Nigeria, as well as in major towns and cities across the United Kingdom.
✅ Why This Matters
-
The State-Watch initiative allows us to gather on-the-ground intelligence and provide real-time insights into emerging threats, attacks, and displacement crises.
-
The LAC network will ensure that PSJ UK has a direct link to affected communities, allowing us to mobilise support, provide advocacy, and coordinate relief efforts more effectively.
