The responsibility lies with the state but how do citizens get the government to do what they were voted in to do – We really should only vote in leaders that we know can carry out leadership and governance….. The Era of ‘Stomach Infrastructure’ must cease

Glad to see the possibility of genuine partnership and progress being made concerning Nigeria. Have played a key role in forming the nation called Nigeria, the UK has a moral responsibility to all of its people. The historic and diverse relationship between these two very significant nations could become a testament to the power of partnership and cooperation.

As as we celebrate this ‘State Visit’ milestone, I pray that it will indeed be more than just a ceremonial event. With pressing existential challenges like loss of sovereignty to terrorists, economic inequality, and escalating insecurity in diverse forms, we need concrete commitments followed by immediate actions.

This could make the visit meaningful and lead to progress in areas like Security, trade, ad education, benefiting both nations and contributing to a more stable and prosperous world🌎.

Help Keep the Work Moving — One Simple Act at a Time

Every organisation has moments where the work doesn’t stop — but the resources need a boost. This is one of those moments for us.

Right now, we’re looking for 100 people who can help us meet some essential, critical needs that keep the machinery running behind the scenes.

There are two easy ways to be part of this:

    • £20 a month for 10 months, or

    • £200 in one single payment

This Money Bomb is about keeping core operations moving — the unglamorous but absolutely vital work that allows everything else to happen.

    Your support helps us:

    • Maintain ongoing programmes

    • Respond quickly to urgent needs

    • Keep systems, people, and processes functioning smoothly

In short: it keeps the engine running.

    Be One of the 100

If 100 people step forward, the goal is reached — simple maths, powerful impact. If you’ve been looking for a clear, practical way to support the work, this is it.

Thank you for standing with us.

Stand with Nigeria's Internally Displaced People

Across Nigeria, millions of people have been forced to flee their homes due to violence, terrorist attacks, armed banditry, communal conflicts, and other forms of insecurity. Today, more than 4 million Nigerians are living as internally displaced persons (IDPs) within their own country, having lost their homes, livelihoods, farms, businesses, schools, and places of worship. Many continue to live in temporary camps and host communities under difficult conditions, with limited access to healthcare, education, employment opportunities, and basic necessities.

Behind every statistic is a family whose life has been disrupted, a child whose future is uncertain, and a community struggling to survive.

It is time to restore dignity, hope, and security to millions of displaced Nigerians.

We call on the Federal Government of Nigeria, State Governments, and relevant agencies to take urgent and coordinated action to facilitate the safe, voluntary, and sustainable return of displaced persons to their communities. This includes:

    • Strengthening security in affected communities and preventing further attacks.
    • Rebuilding homes, schools, healthcare facilities, places of worship, and critical infrastructure destroyed by violence.
    • Supporting displaced families with access to livelihoods, vocational opportunities, and economic recovery programmes.
    • Providing trauma support, education, healthcare, and social services for affected populations.
    • Ensuring justice, accountability, and long-term protection for vulnerable communities.

Every person has the right to a safe and secure home. Displacement strips individuals of their basic rights and places them in vulnerable situations.
